    I'll ask on r/GalaxyS7/

Have you tried different screen res settings, see if that makes a difference?

Too late but thanks.  Can Disabler Pro be installed on non rooted phones ?

    Yes, it doesn't require root.
Thanks,  Alas there are so many dodgy package disablers around on the play store it's hard to know what to chance.  In any case I did another restore, this time I didn't restore and apps or data.  I'm pretty sure Baidu push service is installed by ES File Explorer, Zedge and also by My Data Manager but I have read briefly around how some Samsung apps install it too.  Most likely not an issue as Baidu isn't installed (it would be the same for Chinese people getting a google folder when they don't have google installed).  Will keep an eye on it.

This is the one I went for: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hecorat.packagedisabler&hl=en

The Dev posted on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/4lar6u/dev_ez_disabler_an_app_to_disable_any_package_on/

EZ Package disabler is the best as it allows you to disable not only system apps but you can also disable services within apps.

Bought EZ Disabler.  Didn't really help with detecting what is causing this Baidu folder to re-appear.  I know what creates it (various file explorers, zedge, almost any of the mobile data monitoring apps etc..) Even after disabling almost everything on the phone using EZ, and removing the Baidu folder it reappears once you turn on/off wifi and/or mobile data.  Clearly something is creating it, just can't find it (phone in not rooted). When you run the Samsung optimizer it says it deletes the Baidu push service which is my real problem.  I don't want my data being sent to some Chinese server in Bejing or to be spammed by them.

Can someone on this thread check if they have a Baidu folder on their S7 please ?

Does anyone else now get two notifications when they get an email. One that gives them a preview, and one that doesn't

    Battery issue!

Anyone else experiencing decreased charge in their battery? I start the day on 100% and now by lunch time I'm down to 36%. Haven't had any apps like youtube running. Haven't had the phone set up as a mobile hotsport either.

Just find lately the battery won't last the day.

The bottom left capacitive button..did it always quickly switch to your previous app with a quick double tap? Only noticed it since downloading nougat. I'm loving this feature alot.

Stock Nougat feature, I believe. It's the same on the HTC 10 now.

What kind of usage do you have to use so little battery?

66% now, 14 hours on nearly so must have been off charge since closer to 7 not 8. Only 2 hours screen on time right now tho.
Bluetooth & high performance mode turned on 24/7.

1 or 2 calls, some WhatsApp, Viber, boards app, Facebook etc today

I just disabled some stuff using ez package disabler following a guide on Reddit.

That was the single best feature Google put in Nougat.

I can't live without it now. Most useful feature in ages for me!

Real long shot here, but does anyone have any idea of the current wireless charging tech is going to work with future samsung models?

I really like my samsung wireless charging pad. I have one for work and would consider another for home if I was sure they'd still be useful in a few years.
