I think people from New Zealand call Australia "the big island" / "the mainland".

    Cheeky Brit :D

I'm really looking forward to your rage when kiwi pundits refer to the Lions as the British Lions this summer.

You do know that awec is a Brit right, he'd love the Lions to be renamed correctly? He's just down here in Mexico building the wall. :pac:

He just wants you to see how insane the rugby forum can get compared to the pillow fight you moderate over on the Politics Cafe :D

A bit of a difference in physiques between Quade and his opponent.

That's ridiculous to be fair. That guy is a professional boxer and he turns up to a weigh in like that.

I have to say I'm mightily impressed. To be able to captain England in the 6N opening game and that same weekend take part in a boxing match with Quade Cooper is no mean feat.

I assume he normally boxea far below that class? Or is he just a novelty like Quade

He's mostly an MMA fighter, has a 0-2 record in boxing. 22, and currently underweight.

Picked up some tickets for Ravens v Jags in London next September. Anyone picking up tickets for any of the games? They're good craic, went to a Lions game a few years ago and watched us get absolutely pasted.

The Falcons game? I was at that one. Good fun but atmosphere is a little dead, I thought.

If I'm going to go to one, it will probably be the Saints vs Dolphins.

I generally find the atmosphere to be dead at NFL games, whether or not they're in Wembley. At least the spectacle at the Ray Jay has been fairly spectacular with the air force flyovers and the pirate ship etc.

Nah, Lions V Chiefs. Chiefs pumped the Lions 45 to 12 or something like that.

Ticketmaster though. No option to print your tickets for the NFL and they charge you £4.95 for postage. They're the worst.

What incentive have they to improve or actually try and not gouge people? Only real game in town and they know it, the cocks.

Amazon are about to step into their playground, apparently.

The GAA and Connacht use tickets.ie.

    https://tickets.amazon.co.uk/

Ed Sheeran tickets for his UK gigs are actually on sale through this.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

    Has anyone used that?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,634 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

Stephen Donnelly joined Fianna Fail. This is worse than Kelleher going to Connacht :(

Should resign his seat and stand again for FF in a by-election. Campaigned on a very different policy platform to that of FF, his constituents deserve the chance to vote again. All about personal ambition, not about any kind of principles or vision.

He was a bit of a darling to the youth, the left and certainly the tech crowd with his AMA's and what not but this move will push him away from many of those groups.

    Kind of entertaining tbh.

Always thought he was a populist who played to the crowd. Not surprising that he's trying to take the easy route. I'd say the popularity he has from IW will carry him in again at the next GE. The Irish people deserve the politicians we get, which is a shame
