Anyone had the need to get their screen replaced in Dublin city centre?

Anyone have any recommendations? Price wise and quality of result wise..

Price will be a determining factor as to whether I try a screen repair or just buy a new one (not from a mobile operator)

what make and model of phone are you trying to fix, as this will probably be a factor.
I've used FoneFix in Sandyford industrial estate, they have a list of potential prices per model on their site.

    HTC One M8

It's served me well - over two years old. Still get about 24 hours battery out of it so there is still some life in it.

Plus it's still performant. It's no slouch.

    That is a lot.

I've used ExpressTech a few times and find them really good. They'll collect and deliver it back in a day.

Talk to Alex in Wizz in Moore Street. Henry Street end.
He's done stuff for several of us on boards.

Have used FoneFixer in the Ilac a couple of times, quick, decent price and reliable!

For the record was on my way to Moore Street and passed a number of places along Talbot street - popped into a few of them but the lads in GSM Workshop convinced me...

Phone back in my hands now - great job. Flawless operation, responsive and a bright and crystal clear screen..

€65 all done and they threw in a free screen protector

Oh and a free pen :)

All in all - very happy with that.

    Yep

And the screen protector turned out to be tempered glass and not just a piece of flimsy plastic

That's brilliant. I need to get a sgs5 screen fixed. Screen alone is +/-110euro....

    Guys!

Smashed phone screen and kinda need it fixed within the next week.

Don't want to spend more than €50, and it's a Sony Xperia Z3 Compact.

    Any recommendations?
