    Hi,

I live in ashtown and get the maynooth train into work every morning. I'm able to come into work after 9 so i normally get the 8:52 from broombridge. As I'm one of the last stops before people start getting off, I'm always worried anytime I have to come in before 9 because the trains are packed by the time they get to ashtown/broombridge.

I have to be in town very early tomorrow and I was wondering could anyone tell me how busy the maynooth train line is at say the 07:06 or 07:24 from ashtown to Connolly. Are the trains quieter that early? I can't afford to be in a situation where I can't get on the train.

In my experience, the train at 07.06 will be much quieter than the later on ones, to the extent that the few times when I take the train into work (normally cycle) I make a point of getting up early to get that from Coolmine. You even stand a good chance of getting a seat on it for a change! Obviously if you're going past Connolly that does necessitate a change. I can't really comment on the other one you mention, but I don't think it would be as quiet, as it comes in from Longford.
