Damn...my bad....title was wrong...I've correct it. It is now totally FREE.

I've downloaded it and have it working with GiMP on Windows. Will work on it on my Mac later tonight.

Ah ok, this was announced back in March - I thought you were posting that they were now charging again! Glad you found it and it's no harm as a reminder for anyone who hasn't downloaded it!

Yeah...sorry...I didn't realise it was free back in March...but it's pretty good. Have it working with GiMP on Windows. Mac might be problematic...from Googling it would appear nobody has it working yet.

It works fine on a Mac. I installed it two weeks ago on a MacBook Pro (2008) and it works perfectly. It installed the plug-ins in to Photoshop CC 2017 and also the stand alone applications. Very happy with it.
I wasn't expecting it to work because when Google took over the Nik Collection package, it had been said that support for future comparability would stop and it would eventually become redundant. Thankfully, this hasn't happened. They don't appear to have upgraded the functions on any way, it's still the exact same as the package I had bought many years ago but I don't mind that. Still happy that it has been kept alive.

(Edit) just to add, I am using it on a 2008 machine. I hope, if I upgrade to a newer one that it will still work then. Fingers crossed.

The Nik Software is excellent it makes processing images a breeze. I had it a while back on an old machine but upgraded recently so it was a real bonus to get the latest version of the software for free :D well done Google
