Whatever about the writing quality of the source quoted the fact that the Donald isn't releasing his tax returns is a massive two fingers to the American people and imho is a clear red light that there is something very dodgy contained in them. This is a big test now for the mainstream media in the US, do they prove their use to society and push to get to the truth or do they cow down and let it slide.

I mean we live in a world where a demonstrably lying reality TV star is President so maybe you need to adjust your sense of 'humour'. K thanx bye.

Sorry if this was posted before but

Trump Promised to Resign From His Companies — But There’s No Record He’s Done So
To transfer ownership of his biggest companies, Trump has to file a long list of documents in Florida, Delaware and New York. We asked officials in each of those states whether they have received the paperwork. As of 3:15 p.m. today, the officials said they have not.

    Vox is garbage.

Yeah, you really don't know how to analyse a source do you?

Conway spoke on ABC this morning, not Vox, and Vox just reported it, it's not an editorial or opinion piece ffs.

That's the most awfully written piece of garbage I've ever read. 75℅ the way through, I questioned if it was pro or anti Trump. It made no sense from start to finish. Just rambling nonsense and the only way I know now that's anti-Trump is because it's Vox.

Could you paraphrase it for the rest of us please?

You're so desperate to take sides, literally anything you read has to be either pro or anti Trump bias. It's honestly quite sad to see.

Now that Trump and his entourage have become the 'establishment' and the 'elite' and who are now residents of the Washington 'swamp', who is Trump going to rage against? Will all his fire be directed at the 'media', ( except Fox News and Twitter of course).
Trump thrived on his anti-establishment rhetoric. He will have to find new dragons to slay. Who will they be?

Or do they get distracted by the shiny shiny tweet Donald vomits up overnight?

They need to stick on the tax returns - along with the already established suspicions of Russian links, him hiding his debts and sources of income are not business as usual. Its a sign of a compromised POTUS. Donald and his team have already alienated the media, so it ought to be clear there is nothing to be gained trying to pretend there can be a cordial relationship with such a thin skinned, dishonest and unpopular narcissist.

I think the media should just drop this argument with the crowd size it is just petty and if they just start ignoring things such as this then it is a way of showing we are bigger than you

I am going to wait and see what will happen with Trump. On 1 hand I wish some of our leaders would say Ireland First like he says American first. It is very vague will he look for policies or is it a suggestion. Like what does it mean for people on visa working or does with visa that are coming with the hire American. For his policies on illegals I do not really have a problem it would be a bit hypocritical to say just look the other way with Irish illegals and then go and say all illegals have to go in Ireland..

His trade deals of re writing them well he is a businessman he knows you have to compromise also

Healthcare will be the main thing in the first few weeks of what will happen.

While people are fearful because of what he has said I do not see the peoples freedoms been eroded. I feel LGBT will become a issue to be decided in the Supreme court that will likely go the individual States have the right which will play in to more power for the states themselves which I feel is a good thing.

This New Deal 2 with the infrastructure is a good thing where he will hope most jobs that and the military will come from

Also Trump may be the president but laws and votes are carried by the Senate and House and I think there dislike of Trump will mean not much will change.

Spicer will be a lot of fun is he lasts. I do see a big bust up with the media that I think even Fox News may not escape

Oh pretty please let the US media grow some balls and go for that exposed trobbing jugular. I'll stock up on popcorn and get ready for the big show.

The start has been every bot as crappy as many people feared.

Trumps non unifying speech, his freak out over the reporting of the numbers, his contention that God stopped the rain just for him.
Spicers terrible press conference, getting totally ragged about easily verified assertions and he now has no credibility.
Conways mistakes in her last few interviews. LAternative facts, press being mean to them, the threat to the press to stop being mean or they would reevaluate the relationship and the admittance that the audit tax return was a lie the whole time.

I get the impression that this is a group of people totally pumped up by the victory they have achieved and are coming across as arrogant, thinking the job is done. Many people who get promoted or win something carry on like this for a while afterwards.

I think they will be aware that the last few days has been a bit of a car crash and will pull it back in. How long that will last is another question.

This is another of the singular elements of this campaign that has seriously perplexed me and honestly speaking frightened me a little.

The number of people who plumb for him (and I'm not saying tatranska does) because they find it all so hilarious and entertaining. This isn't a game. This isn't a reality TV show. Peoples lives will be affected, their rights may be eviscerated, global peace is already being threatened. I know humans have a macabre sense of humour but seriously this is **** is real. There is a time for laughing and time for growing up.

It reminds me of the people who seem to like Trump for no other reason than they know it frightens or irritates other people. WTF is up with that?

Definitely not a supporter and it is indeed very worrying but the people of the USA know their own electorally system and accept it. They wanted Trump and they got what they wanted.

Them being up in arms about it is disengenuous.

If I were Trump I would be more than a little concerned that there are easy targets, all over the World, with my name on them. I would certainly be wary about staying at a Trump resort.

She got the second highest amount of votes ever of any Presidential candidate. She got the highest number of votes of any white candidate ever.
She got three million votes more than Donald. (albeit losing the election)

Of course this was all part of Donald's plot.

Meanwhile Donald enters the presidency with the lowest approval for a president ever.

    Also part of Donald's plot.

The population of the US is rising fast:
    2008: 304 million
    2016: 324 million

There were bound to be more votes cast.

Whichever was to be elected would have had the lowest approval rate, neither were widely liked.

...but again Donald lost the popular vote. He lost it bigly.

And he, not Hillary, will be remembered as history's most unpopular president at his inauguration...

and his claims of a 'movement' were totally demolished by the enormous protests across the US, from coast to coast and including all the so called 'heartland' of the country.

And if you think it doesn't bother him... watch his speech to the CIA and his press secretary's debacle yesterday.

Ya failing Donald. And everybody knows. Everybody nose.

Don't lie Hank, you're hitting 'protest Trump' in the youtube search bar and throwing all the good results in here, just so you can go "ooohh look <insert stupid gob****es in here> hate Trump, therefore we should all support him".

    It's actually "SAD!"

I'm not at all! I find the video like the one above hilarious! What's not hilarious is those other protesters blocking off Air Force men from the inauguration, huge lack of respect.

He should release them, I said that months ago on this thread and again recently, I also said he wouldn't. The time to release them was before the primaries. He's probably used loopholes to avoid paying taxes. The longer he went without revealing them the more the media built it up.

    10k posts, woop.

Funny thing is that Orwell's '1984' is almost apt to the current situation we face. "Alternative facts" is pure 'newspeak'.

Ah now, we've had this for years.

Doublespeak is nothing new in the modern world.

Awkwardly for them, the upside-down cross is also a holy symbol, it's the cross of St. Peter. So unless they had a sideways one, they're a bit out of luck on crosses.

It won't be "manna from heaven" if enough voters in swing districts swallow these "alternative facts" on 6 November 2018. :(
