    Hi all,

I am about to start a commute from celbridge to city centre but it's my first time so need to figure out what the best way is.

I've heard there is a new train service from hazelhatch to Connolly which would be perfect but I was wondering does anyone here use this train? Can you tell me is it very busy in the mornings ... am I going to be able to get on?! Are the timetables reliable?? The website says it takes about 40 minutes... would this be about right??

Yes you will be able to get on especially the ones that start from Hazelhatch, yes timetable is more less good and generally reliable.

Peak hours only at present. Generally reliable and since they make connections with Portlaoise trains, IE make a effort to keep the trains on-time (to the detriment apparently of DART etc) but they can be up to 10mins late outbound in the evening.

Depending what side of Celbridge you are on, you may be better going to Leixlip Louisa Bridge and getting the Connolly train there. It doesn't need to use the tunnel
