    Anyone any idea of Mil-Sim events in the coming new year (please post links if you have then) ?

    Nothing (mil-sim event wise) usually starts coming up till end of February or after in Ireland anyways. Bellurgan Park usually run an eight hour mil-sim late February, will be worth keeping a eye on their facebook page. Sim-Tac or RedBarn might have something planned for spring too. Their might be smaller scale events on a few of the local sites around Ireland till then. For example, there is a small half day mil-sim happening on Saturday 4th February at my local site in Sligo, Viper Airsoft Club. Its a normal skirmish in the morning then after lunch there is a mini-milsim for 3 hours.

    Its going to be a conquest styled game, with two faction fighting for clockpoints, with the usual basic mil-sim rules. Ammo limits, medic rules etc. There should be an event page on facebook with all the info up for it soon, I can throw the link up here when it is up?

    There is "Operation Shamrock" up north, who have held events on the St Patrick's Barracks, a 27 acre disused army barracks in Ballymena. Seems they ran a two day event last November on the weekend of the 26/27th. They are saying they are looking to run another event in the end March. From the videos the area looks very cool, would be a great place to play. Heres the facebook link for them anyway

    Bellurgan have released the dates for their 2017 milsims

    March 4th, 12 hour MilSim.


    April 8th, 8 hour Combat Mission.


    May 12th/13th/14th, 30 hour MilSim.


    August 25th/26th/27th, 27 hour Katanga Conflict part II.
