    Ho,
I'm looking at posting a photo, in mount and frame with glass to Oz. 37 x 27 inch and 5kg.

Any advice on best way, costs etc and ensure that glass doesn't break. Diy or go with a delivery company etc.

    Cheers,
    Pa.

i suspect it'd be as easy to have it printed and framed in australia?

Ship it in a tube and get them to get it framed over there. Or have it shipped to a local framing shop over there and ask them to mount and frame it for the customer.

    Thanks for the replies.
The person saw my photo in an exhibition in Loughrea and wants the photo with exact frame so printing & framing there isn't an option.

Sweet mother of Jesus- DHL charge €250 for packaging & delivery. An Post will ship registered for €68 and I found a company in Galway that will professionally wrap it for €55. Sounds like a lot but they'll wrap it extremely well and promise survival of frame and glass) from a meter drop.

    Cheers,
    pa.
