83 after playing the WC and back into the top 100k

43 points better off than pre WC

    Onwards & upwards

This is why i always advocate playing the wildcard if your not happy with your team. You should always get a short term boost to your team. Those that wildcarded this week have been quite lucky as it ended up that all the key targets more or less delivered straight away. This argument of keeping the wildcard till dgws at all costs makes no sense to me.

83 points without having Harry Kane in my team.

    Overall Rank: 16,423 :D

Holding him mostly because I'm a coward.

Even though I have said this, I would drop Aguero for Berahino, in a heartbeat, if he gets his move to a half decent team.

The extra cash would then have me with a team that looks on steroids. I think I could have almost every/any player I'd want.

53 (-4), a bad week, red arrows everywhere and done to 16K from 5K. Not having Kane was bad enough but no Alonso either. Have Giroud & Aguero so a lot to think about until Friday!!

Can't say I wasn't pleased to gain 40 odd pts on you in the various leagues you are kicking my ass in!! ;)

That's what 80% of boardies (myself included ) thought with Andre Gray pre GW1

Berahino has done nothing but impress me every time I've seen him. Might have an attitude problem but he has some future if his attitude isn't shítty.

Hard to know what's really happened with his time at West Brom. Probably an agent to blame somewhere.

Ha, nothing worse than having a bad week and others making a gain like that. I've had bad scores before this season but this week was the 1st I got badly punished! I just hope its not the start of a bad slide!

How likely is he to move. Haven't seen his name mentioned in the red top gossip columns, where's he likely to end up.

Strikes me as quite streaky. If you got him at the right time he could rack up serious points over 6-7 games.

    Completely agree.

If you limp through numerous game weeks with a poorly performing team, you've lost so much ground by time the DGW comes around and you eventually play it that you would need a miracle to actually gain meaningly from it.

Press that button and don't look back!

Agree with both. And the same argument can be applied to taking hits. Limping along with players not performing can do you far more harm than -4.

I've taken a LOT of hits this year, which as well as reflecting that I am getting some calls wrong in the first place (as well as some pretty bad luck with injuries early on) also is down to reacting to my situation and making moves to change the team which have a decent chance of being at least points neutral (and therefore an extra FT) after the hit.

I'll use my WC when I need to, and if I can get away with a few corrective hits I'll keep it till the DGW's.
