You do know that most of the decent prams now are upwards on a grand. Those car seats can run into a couple of hundred quid. And don't get me started on the price of cots...

Mfc you're showing your age there. It's not prams anymore, it's travel systems :pac:

Oh I know well!! I had one for the first little one. Cost €700 back in 2005 (and that was a trade price - wife's mate owned a baby shop). Had it 10 months and went to New York for a weeks holiday. Was walking down towards times square and the entire handle came off and the buggy kept going!! Ended up having to buy a new one in Toys r Us and asking a huge black security guard if he would "fcuk this one in the skip"

"God damn man, you want me to put this stroller in the trash"

"Yeah...fcuk it in as hard as you can cause it's a piece of shìt" (I get annoyed when something expensive breaks - not the fact it could have killed my first born).

"You irish sure are some crazy motherfcukers!!"

    Gotta love those Americans.

I'm about to bin an old set of irons if you want a starter set. They must be 20 years old at this stage (they were hand me downs from my old man) but they do the job. Might save you a few quid in the short term

I have an old crappy set, but I'm pretty certain I need clubs that are an inch longer than standard.

Any old irons, any old irons, any any any old irons?

In France you need a licence to play golf, so between that and the cost of water I've never even asked how much a round of golf is here. I used to be handy enough as a kid.

So Rory McIlroy has taken about one and a half rounds to get used to his new clubs.

I know his round didn't end as he would probably have liked but nonetheless it's been a good start to the season so far.

I have a feeling this could be a big year for Rory. I smell a Major or two.

    The cost of water?

A round here can cost anything from about €20 up. Some very good courses can be played for as little as €35 midweek.

Yeah, it costs a fortune to water the course when it doesn't rain for two months straight.

I played Carcassonne last September and noticed that alright. Rough was non-existent; just dusty wisps of grass and the fairway grass wasn't really attached to the topsoil. Was like a carpet really.

    Nice course though.

If the Texans had a competent QB they could have won. Their defense is the real deal but the offense is poison. They're stuck with Osweiler next season too due to the guaranteed money.

Doesn't matter who is playing for them next year, the winner is inevitable

He has looked a little better of late. If Will Fuller had held a great pass in the 3rd that could have been a tied game going into the 4th. It was a simple catch too.

But his contract is absolutely insane. Was it $32m guaranteed for a bloke who had started 8 NFL games?!

All my Virgin Media stuff is down. Apparently there's a fault in the area. Hopefully back for the Ulster game.

Ended up booking South Africa for a honeymoon instead of New Zealand. 2 and a half weeks in South Africa driving along the garden route then 3 days of Safari and then 4 nights in Dubai on the way home. :D
