    Hi all,

Anyone experience this. I thought nothing of it over last few days but this evening I notice that as is, a lot of air is getting causing almost an inferno inside as if I had both dampers open.
The door is closed but if I push it a little, it seals it like it did when it was new (2 years ago) and the flames stop dancing and kind of gently move, as one would expect with dampers closed.

I will contact Henley Monday but any early suggestions what it is?

    Thanks

Check the rope around the inside, could need to be replaced. Other than that, it could be warped.

Jesus man you're fast. Yeah I'll do that tomorrow. Nice one for that. Thanks

Very unlikely that a cast iron door is warped....
Most likely fire rope or hinges.
Could be the handle locking mechanism also.
They are the most likely issues.

have a look at yer rope it's probably as flat as a pancake. You can get rope and glue on amazon or woodies .

The handle on the door needs to be adjusted
Simple matter of tightening the nut on inside of handle

On the ball. The door handle + nut needed to be tightened. Solid and tight snug as you'll get now :-)
Just in case anyone opens this in future they might benefit from that solution
