Evening, i hope someone can help me , ive asked many people and got mixed answers

I am looking at purchasing a discovery 7 seater in the uk , brining it in and converting it to a 5 seater , I think registering it as a commercial is aboit 50 to 200 euro and then i can tax it at the commercial rate
.. am i completly wrong or a little on the right track

VRT is 13.3% on all crew cabs
theres new laser measurements have to be done by a handful of approved centres
Its a lot harder to clear these now.
You'd want to check with a centre does the discovery clear before bringing it in.

I don't think a Disco will pass as a Crewcab now, it needs a min of 12800²cm in the back opening and the Disco won't reach that figure.

Try finding one in HSE or HSE lux spec here, gery few , the base spec discovery is nothing special

Be very careful, it is highly unlikely it will pass the measurement check now. I think you can still get new ones but old ones can not be converted to crew cab.
