Hopefully someone can give me advice.
Im with AIB the past 3 years.
The missus is trying to set up an account here as well.
But photo id is causing her issuesm
She has a passport thats out of date, but has a valid public services card with her name as on her passport and photo. Also pps number.
Tried to get an ml10 form from gaurda station but they say they want a letter from the bank to say they require an ml10. But im not driving over and back from the next town 3 or 4 times to be told i need this, then ibneed that etc.
Anybody know a bank that can help?

You might try attending the Garda Station at a different time (so as to get a different Guard) - bring your expired passport and other identification/address information. Remember, you're asking a Guard to legally certify they know you personally, so helping them is helping yourself.

It won't matter which financial institution you try, they are all required to obtain proof of ID and address before opening your account:

Thanks for that. Any idea if any of the institutions straight up wont accept an ml10?

I don't understand your question? All institutions have to verify your identity, either by a passport/driving licence; if either are not available, then you'll have to produce an ML10 form - it's a legal requirement, see the the Citizens Information link I posted earlier
