Hinges - Interior Doors

Quickie; how many hinges should be used to hang interior doors?
My doors are not solid wood, 44mm thick but I don't know how heavy all the same. In any house I can recall noticing door hinges, I've only ever seen 3 hinges used.

Two hinges are enough from a weight carrying perspective if the doors are not solid, but a third hinge will help prevent warping

Thanks...be a good idea at the very least to request 3 hinges be used for those doors into bathrooms or other areas that would be considered damp

Most 4" hinges need a 4.5 mm 'bugle head' screw for a neat fitting. Ask your fitter to get the correct screw. Nothing worse than slightly oversized/undersized screw.

3 minium . 4 for fire doors.
it only takes a few min extra to do the third
