Popped the question with a token ring over Christmas. We're going to Dubai in March and have been doing a bit of research and seems to be great value based on some old threads on here.

Just looking to see if anyone on here has any recent experiences? Budget is probably around the €3k mark. Cara seems to be the main place that was mentioned in older threads.

Congrats! Cara is still very popular and always comes highly recommended. It's always extremely busy. I prefer and have used Monili a few times. The main guy is Vipul. I would go to both and see what prices you get. Unfortunately the euro being rubbish at the moment means it's not as good value as before but still better than home. Both shops are in the gold and diamond park (a jewelry mall). If you know what diamond and design you are after it should only take a few days to have it made.

I would second Cara's. I bought wedding rings off them last year and the service and contact via email was great. Maybe give the a shout before you head over so you have the ball rolling. They also have a car service and you can arrange them to pick you up etc
