    Hi all,

I have a 2010 Peugeot 5008 1.6 that I am looking to trade up two or so years. The car is in very good condition inside and outside, but has been maintained by my indie mechanic. It has been serviced on time, and has a new timing belt and chain.

What would be the best and cheapest way to move up two years? I need a 7 seater, and I don't mind having the same car again.

    Thanks,

    KEn

The cheapest way will be to sell your car privately and then negotiate a straight deal (no trade-in) discount off the new car. However selling privately can be more taxing than just trading up.

If your willing to buy the same car again then ask yourself why bother only to move up to a 2 years younger exact same car. You know your existing car and it's history and a 2010 car is hardly old. Better the devil you know and all that.
