Convert Oil to Gas Heating system

Hi, my oil boiler is old and I am considering replacing it. I was quoted between €2000 and €2500. I was just wondering how much would it be to convert the heating system to Gas altogether

It depends on how close the gas is to your house and how difficult it is to get through the house.

I priced it before (didn't do it) and was probably going to be about four to five grand.

What condition is your oil tank in? If it is going to need replacement in the next ten years, then you might as well convert to gas now. I had replaced the tank already and this made it hard to justify paying the money to switch to gas.

2000 is far too cheap for a new Boiier install. Are you getting a powerflush included in the price? Which boiler are you being quoted for? Is it natural gas you're looking at?

Hi, Thanks for the replies, I was quoted €2000-€2500 to replace the oil boiler. I have got no quotes yet for converting heating system to gas, was just trying to find out the ball park of cost of converting system to gas.

As DTP says that 2000 euro quote for the new oil boiler fit is way too cheap for you to be getting the job done right.
