It's National Spaghetti Day in the US and I had spaghetti in marinara sauce for lunch. I didn't plan it that way, it was just a happy coincidence.

I'm thinking a roll with butter, mayo, spicy chicken, bacon, red onion.. toasted.. and then lettuce

All for €2.20. Gotta love the subsidised canteen :)

Made some pasta with mushrooms, courgettes and peas. With a sauce made from Lidl's procini and truffle cream cheese and some vegetable stock. Wow. That worked so well... such a shame Lidl only have that cream cheese at christmas.

    I love that cheese!

Just had homemade chilli chicken with rice from a Facebook recipe.. it was delicious! Made chicken mushroom curry for the kids.. ( I'm allergic to curry and the chilli was too spicy for the lightweights, ... I mean kids..)
