Funny thing is I could see Holm schooling Nunes, styles make fights.

I've said the same for quiet a while now. Amanda would fancy her chances on the feet and no doubt be willing to engage and get drawn into Holly's world.

Meisha fought an almost perfect fight against holly. So measured and methodical.

I'd expect we'd see Amanada clinch and use her ground game alot more against Holm, but its an intriguing fight.

Not just say she hits very hard? Shes punching women

How could you possibly find offence in that statement?
Clearly it wasn't meant as derogatory..

I didnt find offence. If she punched " like a man" she would have knocked rousey clean out. She didnt, she rocked her badly after many hard punches. She is a woman punching another woman. Physically men are stronger.

The insinuation that punching correctly means punching "like a man" is ridiculous.

That last sentence clearly says you did take offence to it.

Either way, it's a saying plenty of people use

No its not offence. I find it strange, if she hiit a huge slam takedown. It wouldnt be a slam like a man. It would just be a slam.

She doesnt need to punch like a man to ko women. And punching correctly is not punching like a man, its punching using proper technique.

Wonderfullife, I am a long time lurker here in this MMA forum for 2 reasons.

    1. It fuels my knowledge in my quest to becoming a non bangwaggoner in the world of MMA

    2. You.

I honestly love reading your posts and look forward to them when I creep Boards daily. I genuinely mean that. Your story warms my heart and I wish you all the best. I can, in the very slightest of ways, relate to your story or at least have an understand of it. Im so glad you got to meet JK also, a man I admire very much in his own right.

    That is brilliant!! Very funny.

Think so but probably with other stars. It's a 12 horse race and the promo for the ad was "The 13th jockey or something.

Here's a longer version of the same ad - the first 50 seconds is a string of insults before the ad itself starts. "I can smell you through the screen ya smelly bastard ya!". :pac:

I think he was alright, just playing himself.

The only time it got corny was when he had to tell us the finer details of what he was selling, felt kind of forced then.

Ah yeah, but for a professional sports person it was fine. There have been far worse sports actors... and better.

Conor calling people lazy :pac: I mean he has great work ethic as a fighter, but he couldn't hack a few weeks as a plumber :P Calling people dirty? Didn't he not shower for like 3 weeks before the Mendes fight? :pac:

Anyways, I miss the Conor of "50 Gs DANA", his light hearted young lad from Dublin gimmick was way more fun and real.

What's the story behind this? Did he think if he got real smelly that Mendes wouldn't want to grapple with him?

I remember a story from way back then that he didn't shower for weeks so when Mendes grappled with him he stank like sh!t haha, that is why TJ said he smelled like sh!t. Its all an urban legend but who knows :)

Mendes didn't even replace Aldo until 10 days before the fight or something..? Definitely wasn't three weeks beforehand anyway.

£30 to get into the club, £75 for VIP which I'm assuming gets you a photo. They've got VIP booths and Party Booths for £650 and £1000 each for 10 people.

Not so bad really, Conor gets a night out and probably getting upwards of 70k.

I read he only makes like €3m a year from endorsements, whats the deal with that? Most other sports stars make as much from endorsements as they do from competing in their actual sport.
