Taking board down to sign, brilliant

Was this intentionally to annoy Taylor?

I really hope Barney took that board down without Phil knowing he'd do it.

I've been waiting so so long for someone to do that.

Note that Phil signed the board and said well played.

Dramatic game that never reached the heights they are capable of.
They just aren't as consistent as they used to be.

He had no choice but to sign it, even Phil can't be that much of a twat after getting people to sign it for years.

I think I speak for everyone when I say that we really hope so.

He is Dutch, they are very matter of fact.

Didn't think Barney had it in him to rile Taylor. Obviously something he had planned if he won

Yeah but he doesn't half rabbit on about uninteresting waffle.

I think taking the board down was just barney being nice guy, but if it was to rile Phil well played,

As a casual fan of darts, whats the story with Phil not signing the board?

I think so too. He's hasn't had any dig at Taylor in the interview afterwards. Don't think it was done to annoy Taylor tbh.

Don't think someone clearly very happy at winning is a painful interview.
Barney is a very likeable character.

He did. He just does it himself to every opponent he beats. Everyone was waiting for the day somebody did it to him.

Mardle didn't have the stones to ask him why he got Phil to sign the board.

No chance of Taylor coming out for a chat?

And in previous interviews with Phil, suggests him and barney are friends, all the same it was glorious

Thought it was a very good interview actually.

Manley took the board down when he beat Taylor in the Premier League to piss off Philip and he looked so disgusted but knew he had to sign it regardless. Golden. It was probably the best moment of tonight's surprisingly sedate match after Barney's two big finishes to go 3-1 up.

Yeah the days of them having a tiff are long gone. It was all very tame.

Mardle is probably wary of what he says after the scolding he got from Phil the other night (when Mardle made a comment about the Painter match that got under Phil's skin).

I posted that at the start of his interview. It wasn't as bad as his usual tbf. He moans a lot. If it's not his eyesight, it's his diabetes or something else.
I find him mopey and dull, if you find him interesting then fair play to you...

I think that's why he didn't. I think he just wanted to rile up Taylor a bit.
Double standards a bit though. It was probably the main talking point of the match!

I'm no fan of Taylor at all, but at least he wasn't his usual graceless self tonight.

    Actually surprised he signed it

Hard to pick winner now. Struggling to pick who to shout for even. Like the 4 that's left
