Installed Skype on a One Plus 2, topped up credit, can't make calls

    The problem is described in the subject line, the phone icon does not work when I select either a Skype contact or a real one contact.
    The account works fine from the desktop.
    Would welcome some insights please

    It seems I need to allow it record audio to make a call which is a scary prospect: keeping an audio copy of my phone calls, no thanks Donald
