pc not recognising phone.

    So this only happed at other day. I use my phone daily for tethering my Sony C4 to my Pc but it has stopped working. The computer does still charge the phone but my phone wont give me an option to transfer files. Anyone any idea what to do?.

    Is there an option in the settings for USB settings? Maybe check and see if it's defaulted back to charge rather than MTP

    Probably a silly question but have you tried changing the port your plugging it in to? And restarting both devices etc.

    Yeah tried restarting both devices a couple times
