    Not now, but often have.

Do your emotions show more when you drink?
It's possible although I don't drink. Even if emotions are more intense while drunk it's how people act on them is what's significant. Alcohol can't be used as an excuse for bad behaviour.

Anyone else feeling deathly feverish or is it just me?

Yeah for the first year in a long time.

Ever count sheep to try to sleep and the feckers all stay on the other side of the fence instead of moving on and you lose count?

If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run -
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a man my son!

Lough Ree according to the song. Just 3 miles from me, three provinces meet, Ulster, Connacht and Leinster, as well as three counties, Leitrim, Cavan and Longford.

Will a new year bring a new you?

I'll still be the same prick.

I watched that Pat Shortt film The Flag the other day. Never seen such bollocks on a TV screen. Just saw it was in the cinema. Do you pity the poor bastards who paid to go see it?

Not a hope. I watched the last one out of mild curiosity and thought it was tripe and the way they're being churned out now like episodes of Coronation St can only mean they'll get even worse.

Where is most of the wear on your footwear?

Just below the toes before the arch of the foot. Am sure there is a name for that part of the foot.

Do you wait til your shoes or runners are worn down before buying a new pair?
