Would he not have been instructed by the boss to keep on working?

Anyway, this was the cause of my neighbour being killed last year. The lorry driver was over tired and fell a sleep..

No not when leaning over the wheel.

God help anyone if steering was knocked or a blow out then there would be no hope.

Yep, lets just hope they didn't handcuff him or he'll get off!

A CO WATERFORD man has had drink driving charges dismissed due to a judgement that a Kildare garda unlawfully handcuffed him.

The below is a general 'signature' and not part of any post:

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.

Public transport user? If you're sick of phantom ghost services on the 'official' RTI sources, check bustimes.org for actual 'real' RTI, if it's on their map it actually exists.

I don't think you understand the kind of pressures truck drivers are under to meet deadlines. I can guarantee you he has a bare minimum of deliveries that need to be made just so he can make ends meet and no one give a continental if he`s had time to eat his dinner or not.
We`re all guilty of it, but if a delivery man is late with your new suite of furniture or whatever, is the first thing you ask him did he have a nice dinner?

I'm pretty sure he knows exactly the pressures a trucker faces ;)

Exactly but I always come first fcuk any idiot shouting down the phone and if they did I would stop for longer to p1ss them off.

There is no excuse for rushing and racing like that, he will end up killing someone..

I spend a good bit of time on the road myself and I always do my very best to stop for lunch. I get really hangry otherwise and that's not a good idea when driving.

Yeah, no problem at all with our judiciary, not out of touch with reality one bit.

Putting criminals in handcuffs illegal in Ireland, what a fukking country.

I've told a busload of passengers to their faces that they would be delayed because I had to take a required driving break, it is part of the job of a professional driver to abide by the rules.

If less idiots were willing to ignore the law and "oblige" their employers then it would be a better industry for everyone to work in.

And when that happens, neither his employer or customers will be in the dock alongside him to answer the charges.

I found that asking anyone demanding that corners be cut to put it all in writing that they were ordering me to do so would quickly shut them up.

Thought about calling the traffic watch last night when a couple of UK reg cars (most likely belonging to a certain minority) were weaving in and out of traffic on the M18 and basically using the motorway like their own private racetrack but thought, why bother, by the time the Gardai get out on the road, they'll probably be long gone, judging by the speed they were going at and what would they do, say drive properly and thats it. Would only be worth it, if you knew the Gardai would seize the cars, but then you'd probably have Pavee Point saying they were only out to do their christmas shopping and that theyre good people, and are being discriminated against.

Maybe you could link to a similar statement from Pavee Point in the past?

Ah lad, don't you have a Tunisian killer to be defending or linking to Trump or or russian hackers or something?

For those who don't know raycun, he doesn't go for the whole "say something everybody knows is true but exaggerate for comedic effect" kinda humour.
    Quite the opposite.

Or I don't think saying "just kidding! " at the end excuses anything said before then.

They are a royal pain in the hole around these parts at the moment. It's getting to the stage where they're not only taking over Rathkeale but also Adare and the City. The crescent is a no go area. Overheard two 18 year old lads chatting how they thought the new boxter was great value at £45000 and will definitely get one when coming back next Christmas. I don't even earn that in a year.

You serious? They are the BEST bit of the crescent at christmas!
I don't understand how they ALL forget the bluebadges to park the range rovers near the door though.

I suppose they are entertaining at times but when a Chung fella with acne nearly knocks you down in his 16 5 series m sport as you put in your diesel they tend to annoy me a bit! And there is very few range rovers this year. White X5's with striped grilles are the choice machine this year.

I would hate to be the recovery guy on that job.

Imagine what's living in that primera. I really would love if they actually made this a real TV series and show cars being stopped and taken and embarrass the pure dipsticks.

I'd hate to think what their personal hygiene or home is like.
