Astra van front seats to fit 3 door astra g

Picked up an astra front passenger seat today from an astra van to replace the broken one in my car an astra g 3 door hatchback but later checked and saw that the seat runners on mine are about 15 inch where as the other seat are around 17in.Will it be an ok fit,cheers....

Would the van ones slide forwards to access the rear seats? I'm guessing they'd be the same as an estate

Hey cheers for that but when i look at mine there on a slight raised part of the bodywork which is around 15 in where the other seat runners would be extending over an extra 2in,broken seat is to be fixed to get my NCT cert,cheers.

So could you use the new seat and the old runner I wonder?

Partfinder.ie would have a directory of 3 door Astras for breaking.
