Not sure if this is the correct place so forgive me if I'm not supposed to put this here. Recently my HyperX cloud IIs broke but apparently it's got a 1 year guarantee. I bought it off amazon so how would I go about getting that setup?

Just spilled a cup of coffee into my k70. Any tips on possibly saving it from the scrap heap?

Mechanical keyboards are quite sturdy if you get to them quickly.

here's a guide on what to do with spills on mech keyboards.

Are there many left handed mouse users here? Curious as to what mice you use. My left handed deathadder is getting a bit shabby and I would like to try something else, this was the third one in a row. Thinking about a decent ambidexterous Logitech or similar, Razer mice build quality has gone to the dogs.

3930k on that blender test.. 47.80 seconds doesn't seem great.

off topic but on topic of razer mice, I still have my deathadder from 2007! Wouldn't dream of buying a new one with the **** they're apparently turning out at the moment but the old stuff was excellent

Yea, had a boomslang & copperhead back in the day, both lasted for years. The last two Deathadders I've gone through have been piss poor, left click failed on the first, and a loose scroll wheel on the second-both returned. Current one is a replacement for the scrool wheel mouse. Only reason I stick with them-only egronomic for lefties.

Pity Razer don't put more of their time and resources into the quality of their products than on marketing & shoving as many ****ty LED's into their stuff. Saw a G900 for £60 a few weeks back on amazon, kicking myself I didn't get it.

I need to get little replacement pads for the mouse and clean the mousepad too, the smooth movement is nothing like it was before

I think there's a bit of gillette action (50 blades rotating swivelling etc) going on with most peripheral stuff now, we reached perfectly good mice 10 years ago now so they need to add whizzbangs to get people to buy new. only for I was stupid and bought a few other crap razer bits and pieces over the years, if all they had sold me was the deathadder for 50 euro that lasts 10+ years, they would be out of business

Keep an eye out for Hyperglide Mouse Skates for Deathadder, picked sopme up on fleabay for about £10 a while back, way better than the originals as they're pure teflon IIRC.

I didn't notice the G900 was for lefties also until I read you post. I now have something to try out and replace my leftie death adder :)

What has the world come to. Left handed people. Back in my day the church would beat the left handed out of you and you would be using your right hand like the rest of us honest, religious fanatics.

    As a leftie: I use a right-handed mouse.

Same as that. I think we're the oddest ones out.

I write left handed but play all sports right handed, except football. Pretty mixed up.

I'm left handed but use a mouse right handed, there are literally dozens of us

I'll have to keep an eye out for those. just looked them up on amazon there and some are 60 pounds for sets for other mice and I couldn't see the DA ones

So, my lovely Eizo FG2421 has to be RMA'd :(

Not sure exactly what's wrong, but there seems to be a power delivery problem when it's running at its full 1920x1080 @ 120Hz on DisplayPort -- it randomly disconnects & reboot itself.

I think I'll try with a DVI-D cable and then send it in.

Same. I am left handed, but I use my mouse with right hand. Always did, it looks and feels bizarre to have mouse on left side!

    Left-handed|Right-handed
    Writing|Mouse
    Basketball|Shooting (gun)
    Shooting (bow)|Scissors
    Knives|Cards (poker, etc.)

    I don't understand me sometimes.

    I'm something along those lines.

Have we any right handers that use left handed mice? :P

we are all left handed on this blessed day

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,514 ✭✭✭Lu Tze

Similar here, anything that needs precision, writing, cutting etc. i do left-handed (except the mouse i use that right-handed). Other than that i seem to be predominantly right-handed. Certain things like sawing i can use either, makes little difference, slightly more precision with the left, slightly more strength with the right

    Da fuq?

I was ambidextrous until I was about 12 but now completely right handed (would have been nice to keep it). But shooting right and drawing a bow left? Your brain must be in its own eternal internal US presidential race!

Thinking about it, I probably should shoot a gun left-handed (left-eye dominant), but the few times I've shot guns (years ago) I didn't really think about it much.

    As I said, it's a bit odd.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,309 ✭✭✭✭wotzgoingon

I use my right hand for everything......until now. I'm eating Doritos, tangy cheese with my right hand and it is covered in cheese flavor so I am using my left hand to type and use the mouse.

Think Ill train my eyes to look independently so I can go fly Apache gunships for 'murica.

Get yourself onto a PDF range and try a standard issue AUG, they're fully ambi so you could to a proper range test on both eyes/hands. (Joke, us civie plebs arent allowed in)

Where did all these lefties come from?

Your parents should have tied your hand behind you backs like the old days.

    Runs away.
