Where did all these lefties come from?

Your parents should have tied your hand behind you backs like the old days.

    Runs away.

I'm still waiting for Shadowhearth to not-so-subtly bring up the one thing no-one has mentioned handedness about yet. ;)

Edit: Just realised I've made myself the immature one this time. Derp.

Where do you find a left handed scissors. Maybe in Flanders' Leftorium.

I doubt I could even play Chip's Challenge with my left hand.

Apparently there is a huge amount of confusion as to what settings AMD actually used in two different presentations, may have been 100 samples in one of them versus the 150 most people are actually using to bench against Ryzen.

With 150 samples? Curious about this one as that's faster than any Haswell/Skylake stock result I've seen....

Pretty sure I followed the render instructions right. I'll try it again later to be sure.

I bought some silly string and crackers.

Steam sales start in 2 hours so probably will hurt my wallet then.

Very nice. Looking like a Logitech G900 for me if they drop a bit, and hopefully a pair of Buchardt 200's if I can get them to ship.

Yup, A noble chairs epic. It arrived with no paddles for the base or instructions to put the bloody thing together but I'm sure they'll sort that out

Don't suppose any of you folks know if there are any stores in Dublin that would sell 144hz monitors?

I think Elara.ie have stock, think you can still pick up from them?

Anyone else hardly able to tell the difference between 60, 90 or even 144Hz? I have a 144Hz, 1440P Freesync monitor and I can not tell the difference. I noticed a big difference with freesync though. The game I noticed a big difference was GTA V, as I used to get serious tearing in that game with vsync off.

So yea I cannot tell the difference between the different frequency's. I am gaming with a R9 Fury X so best card AMD have out so I am pushing 144Hz in most games.

    Can a fury x push 144fps at 1440p? That's actually pretty good

I am also thinking of buying a 27inch 1440p monitor, I like how Scan.co.uk has them broken down to screen size. It makes comparing models much easier. I've had enough of the bright, washed out colours, the pixelated text. Maybe something like this or a bit cheaper.

It'd depend on the game. Something like GTAV or Witcher 3 where the camera is floaty is going to have diminishing returns with higher refresh, but a shooter where you have to spin on a dime will feel much smoother.

Well some. Doom, Fallout 4, Battleborn. Not GTA V. Hitman 2016, max settings 90-120Hz. They are the games I have tried or played recently.

Yeah I got the K65 rapid fire cherry red :D I love my mech keyboard, :D I have to say it makes a hell of a difference to thew standard membrane keyboards.

I also bought 4 of my mouse as there no longer made and I wanted, back up. and spare parts, for the future.

Getting an, Rx 480 most likely a Radeon RX 480 Nitro+ over the OC model assuming I get lucky with silicone lottery or is it vital to get the OC model?

Still games slower with a higher power draw than an i5 from what I can see

*Edit* I see it's an ES and so the retail chip will be faster than this, that's quite promising for cpu heavy builds if priced anything reasonably. Can't see them making gaming waves yet though

    Guys.

For chromecast audio. Does one need an internet connection for it to work.

What I was thinking of installing it in a car without having any internet connection.

connect chrome cast to aux connector in car stereo and use cigarette lighter for power

enable hotspot on the phone, go to chromecast app, find the chromecast audio, set it up there.

Then using somthing like Plex to stream local music and bobs your uncle it works in the car
