How to drill hole in stainless steel kitchen sink

I posted a question earlier about getting a "step drill bit" to drill holes into a stainless steel kitchen sink, based on a recommendation in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORXqvOevRbA

but just in case you cannot buy those drill bits in Ireland, is there any other way of drilling the hole? It's for a mixer tap and bizarrely didn't come with pre-cut holes.

The circular drill bits just wear down as they do in the video.

You still have to drill a pilot hole, but a relatively small one to get the bolt of the cutter through.

You can get the cutter in Ikea too if that's convenient ...

You'll get a cone bit in the video in any electrical wholesale, they're not cheap.
I've used a holesaw in reverse with cutting compound to drill stainless steel before, wasn't quick!

I stopped watching the video when I saw the speed he was cutting at, way to fast.

Only way to cut stainless is lots of pressure, slow speed, and use oil or cutting fluid. Anything else will harden the stainless and blunt / melt the bit. Most important is keep the heat under control.
