Posting this here to see what others think. I placed this bet on Madrid to win @10/11 last night. Surely they should have refunded me when I pointed out Their mistake a few mins after I placed my bet. Or the fact the bet won they should have paid out at the correct odds of 7/2.

A winning bet BUT I placed this bet when paddy power displayed the score as 2-2. It was actually 1-2 at the time. Paddy power changed the score line back to 1-2 after I placed my bet. I asked for a refund but was told tough shiit basically. Ever happen to anyone else?

I placed a small bet on some crappy tournament game about a year ago, can't recall the exact scenario, but essentially the second half was shortened, even though they indicated the game would be 45 mins per half. My bet lost, they refused to refund, said their traders had made mistake and that according to their rules, tough ****.
The amount was small, similar happenings with other bookies have almost always seen me refunded. This wasn't my first run in with customer care, as a result, I rarely use them anymore. I may also be biased, but prices are generally worse and I like Asian markets, which they are very limited in providing. B365 are best for me, though I'm also a sucker for hills free bet for losing ACCA offer which is second to none imo.

Exchange is always worth a look, but not as good value as it was 10yrs ago. Still by far the best for sports like golf etc though.

    Over 2.5 Inter V Genoa, over 1.5 bets v Bilbao. Double @1.33

How can a double like that be 1/3? Are you sure that was the best available price?

Wait, are you a re-reg of Lasagna Diarra?

    pretty sure he mean 2.33

Over 1.5 in each championship game tonight 14/1. Worth a fiver for me.

I'm really tempted by Leicester tonight, who are as long as 21/10 (with Bedfred) to win away to Bournemouth. I just have to wonder whether something had finally clicked together for them against Man City, or if Man City were particularly crap last time out.

On the other hand...how hard did Vardy party on Saturday? :o

Elsewhere I'm thinking of following the Racing Post's tips of Villa @23/10, Birmingham @13/10, Halifax @6/4 and Marseille @11/10.

Leicester have 2 points away from home this season. They had rested first team midweek and city were missing some key players. But bournmouth aren't exactly great either but their home form has kept them in a decent spot. Had conidered bourn dnb but its a stay away for me tbh

West brom @2.05 tmoro at home to swansea looks like printing money.

Swansea had their big win at the weekend at home to Sunderland, and have been woeful away, losing 5 of the last 6. Only teams to take points from west brom recently are man city and spurs

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,198 ✭✭✭buckfasterer

That was a pile of boke there in all the games tonight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,860 ✭✭✭✭inforfun

It is a bit of a pitfall that league but Levante @ 2 at home to Vallecano looks ok.
Levante at home W6 D2 L0 > top of the league
    Vallecano away W1 D1 L6 > 14th.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,155 ✭✭✭✭eh i dunno

Spurs, man city, wba dnb @6/5

    Over 2.5 in 3 championship games 8/1

And have to follow on Levante @10/11

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,121 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

gone big on brom also at 11/10, cant see past it, swans had their day like reta said, same as leic v city even tho leic a bit better than swans, both bad on the road

gone with holebas to be shown a card 9/5 has 3 in 4 now and away to city you would think there would be a good chance of a card

not so sure bout danny rose but taken a small bet at 4/1 given he's been booked in 4/6 in league, spurs should win this so it might not happen but a little bet at those odds won't hurt too much should it fail
can't remember the last time I had to look past 888 for better odds on card markets either (rose 5/2 on betv using oddc)

Was looking for a "To qualify" option on Zwolle - Utrecht
Utrecht to win in 90 @ 2.37 is rather tempting
Both teams have a bit of a cup fighter reputation with recent finals but Zwolle is now much weaker than those days while Utrecht could go far again this season.

Still wait for a "to qualify" that must be available in play for sure

    Bit of early value here,

    http://ie.soccerway.com/matches/2016/12/17/england/league-two/accrington-stanley-fc/plymouth-argyle-fc/2248072/

Plymouth are @2.6 which feels huge when you switch to league form.

Also anybody reckon BTTS in City-Watford tonight is decent @1.88?

    Over 2.5 treble

    City v Watford
    Forest v Preston
    Rhyl v TNS

    Pays 2.52/1 on Bet365 ;)

I had no idea Haller was suspended. Explains these odds though.

    Edit:

2-1 Utrecht after they scored 2x in the last 10 mins. Didnt see that happening but glad it did.

Taken over 2.5 goals in Sunderland v Chelsea @1.81 on betfair exchange

Bailey making his return for United tonight. Hoping Zaha can pull a card out of him.

Taking Bailey to be shown a card @3.2 on 888

    Hopping on WBA @2.05 too

    Few goalscorer bets too:
    Chadli AGS @3.1
    Carroll AGS @2.5

they had the market suspended for a while at the start of the game and took it down altogether. dunno what was going on. maybe they realised they priced it wrong

I ll be on to them if the situation asks for it.
Have it in a treble with 1 leg won and the other not looking great so...

Followed on Bailly, unless he does it soon he'll be replaced by Darmian at least at half time if not before :-(

He lasted 6 minutes of the second half, his replacement will get a card now, wait and see !
