Anybody still waiting on a warehouse deal delivery? Made three orders within a three day period, first one arrived (wrong sized trousers) over ten days ago.
Contacted Amazon re the other two, they admitted that one was 'lost' and they couldn't track it, gave me a refund on the warehouse deal item and a £5 gift card sending me the other item. I asked might they replace the deal like for like but they said not on a warehouse deal. Other package is with UPS and until they report it lost/delayed, I'll have to wait, it's showing present in a depot in Surrey for a while now.
Anyone else experiencing delays, plus what happens if once reported lost the item turns up. Actually as I was writing this post the replacement part of the 'lost' order has arrived which doesn't bode well for the original package.
I ordered from the warehouse on the 25 Nov,dispatched on the 27th. Tracking only showed up (An Post) on 5th Dec finally arrived today.Seems to be delivery problems across the board with Amazon over the last two weeks

I'd three orders go missing a while ago. (Not from Warehouse Deals). Got onto chat. Person refunded as most items were since unavailable (Black Friday Deals). Two of the packages eventually turned up. I had a series of contacts with Chat, Emails and eventually Telephone calls with an Irish Rep informing them of this. This person knew less than the others and was unsure what to do with items. This even after I suggested reimbursing return postage or collection. Not heard from them since and started utilising these free gifts.

I just got a great deal on a laptop. But holy crap, I had not realised that the exchange rate had gone back so high. I may cancel it and look in German Warehouse.
    £318pounds = €378euro

Just received my morphy richards rechargeable vacuum today via fastway.
Got the 20%off so came to £63 .
It was billed as like new.
Box a it bashed up but the vacuum was wrapped in cellophane and in pristine condition.
It's missing the Manual but i can live with that.

Thanks for the reminder of the German kB.

Would expect so. Any company that ships goods into any European country has to respect their VAT rate (once total sales into that country are over a certain amount). It's a legal obligation and not much they can do about it.

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=502578

    https://ec.europa.eu/growth/tools-databases/dem/watify/selling-online/how-can-i-comply-vat-obligations?language=en

When you supply services or sell goods in your own country, you are subject to your country’s VAT obligations. However, when you make sales outside your country, the VAT applied is based on where the transaction is deemed to take place.

This means that rules on B2C sales and B2B sales can differ, including depending on whether they are goods or services.

    Sales of goods to consumers located in another Member State are subject to the rates in your country if you are below the distance-selling threshold (see glossary). If you go over the threshold, you need to register in the other Member State(s) and charge VAT at the rate applicable in that Member State. The threshold is either EUR 35 000 or EUR 100 000 depending on the Member State;

B2B sales of goods within the EU and any sales of services to the EU are subject to special rules, depending on the "place of supply rules". Find out more about the rules regarding the place of supply for goods and services. Note that for B2B cross-border sales of goods and for sales of services within the EU, no thresholds are applicable.

Depending on the type of service you offer, you may need to pay VAT in a Member State that is not the one where either you or the customers are established. The exceptions include, for example, services connected to the transport of passengers (where the transport takes place), services related to immovable property (where the immovable property is located), etc.

    The 23%, not just 3%.

Ordered a set of premium kitchen knives which were sold by Amazon EU. It took 2 weeks for delivery and when it arrived it was a counterfeit set. The knives ordered were branded. The "set" received, which were not even a set but a jumble of mismatched knives, were made in china, box printed in chinese and they were like something you would have paid a tenner for in dealz. Amazon were of no help and just told me to return them. 15.50 with parcelmotel and £8 back from Amazon. It would make me think twice before ordering from the warehouse again.

    ^^^^^^^^^^

you have to bear in mind that most of the warehouse stuff are returns and they're returned for a reason

I totally agree but you would expect that there is some level of quality control before the items are resold. In my case this didnt happen

I would get back on to amazon and get the rest of the shipping costs refunded and complain about not getting it earlier. Counterfeit products sold by amazon is a big deal so you should not have accepted them being so unhelpful.

I'm very surprised by it tbh, last week an item I got from the warehouse arrived and was missing an accessory (something very small that was 100% a bonus more than a necessary part) and when I mentioned it on chat they refunded me 50% of the cost - their suggestion not mine!

Had a very long winded chat and pushed them fairly hard but I suppose the difference was I that I wasnt keeping the item but I didnt want to return it either but they insisted that it should be returned which I suppose is not unreasonable.

I notice that on the feedback to amazon I am not the only person ho got a fake set of knives

"The knives were a joke. They were not Zwilling knives. They were a very poor imitation in a chinese branded box. Totally unusable so returned and received full refund"

The warehouse can be a bit hit and miss.
I bought a new nowtv box with movies and the movie voucher was missing.

Got a hoover this week and it was pristine,

When Ive to return something I usually tell them it will cost more than the £8 they allow for postage. It ends up with me being told to email them the postage receipt to get it refunded in full.

OK, I've to return stuff to the warehouse. Damaged item! :( Which method did people use - Parcel Motel or An Post?

i've bought from the warehouse deals 3 times, and twice the items have been faulty. wouldn't bother again.

that said, Amazon's customer care was top notch in both cases

Warehouse deal must be over - an expensive warehouse item (drone) I had left in my cart has gone down 20% in price to the same price again it was before the 'deal' - same price it was during the deal with the in-cart discount.

    “Roll it back”

Get onto chat tell them it will cost too much to post back, send them photos, they may just issue a refund or they will issue a return label as a 'one off' gesture.

Ive contacted them before like this saying I actually was willing to hold onto the not perfect item and didn't want the hassle /cost of sending back , and negotiated a partial refund from them and kept the item

Yeah - not much good if it's faulty though.

I went with Parcel Motel because it worked out much cheaper to have the value insured. The catch though is that I dropped it off on Sunday and still haven't received the acknowledgement from Parcel Motel that they ever received it. I'd go with An Post or DHL so that they'll at least take responsibility for it when you hand it over.
