Gas strut selection

Hi I'm wondering if someone has experience with gas struts in carpentry? I've built a bin store with a horizontal hinged lid on top and I want to add 2 gas struts to help raise the lid. The lid is 160 cm from hinge to front edge. It weighs 13.5kg and I want it to lift about 70cm at the front. Would anyone be able to help…

Hi

Would need a sketch of the proposed hinge points / fulcrum to calculate the lifting force.
