Anywhere to get a list of teams that have something to play for, etc tonight?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,192 ✭✭✭✭PopePalpatine

The best I can do is cross-reference the group tables with tonight's matches.

    Group A
Zorya are already out, but there's the risk they might still want to play for pride.

    Group B
Young Boys and Astana are out, their head-to-head records against Olympiakos are 1-2 and 1-5 respectively.

    Group C
Mainz and Gabala are out, Mainz's record against St Etienne is 1-1, but St. Etienne have an away goal.

    Group D
Zenit are 10 points clear of the scrap for 2nd.

    Group E
Austria Vienna face Plzen, and they're 2 points shy of Astra. They're tied 4-4 on aggregate, but Vienna have 3 away goals to Astra's 2.

    Group F
Rapid Vienna & Sassuolo are 4 points adrift of Bilbao & Genk.

    Group G
St Liege host Ajax, and are tied 2-2 on aggregate with Celta Vigo with 1 away goal each. Panathanaikos are 5 points adrift in last.

    Group H
Donetsk are 9 points clear of 2nd and are away to Braga. Braga are tied 3-3 on aggregate with Gent, but have 2 away goals to Gent's 1.

    Group I
Schalke are 8 points clear of 2nd, and are away to Salzburg. Unfortunately for Salzburg, their head-to-head record against Krasnodar is a draw away and a loss at home. Nice can overtake Salzburg for 3rd if they win and Salzburg lose, having won 1-0 but also lost 2-0 against Salzburg.

    Group J
Liberec can qualify if they win and Qarabag lose. Fiorentina are safe, having beaten Qarabag 5-1 at home. The only risk is that they lose and PAOK win, which would relegate them to 2nd based on their head-to-head record.

    Group K
Southampton had a goalless away draw against Hapoel, and they are level on points with them. A score draw would be enough for Hapoel to go through. Prague are safe, while Inter are rooted to the bottom, 4 points adrift.

    Group L
This is easily the most open group. Osmanlispor top the group on 7 points, with everyone else on 6.

Sparta Prague 10/3 to beat Inter

Man United / Zorya under 2.5 @ 10/11, all zorya's games have gone under in the group games and the pitch is like an ice rink.

Simply because of the state of the pitch United are playing on and the fact that they only need a draw to progress I am taking small stakes on

No goalscorer @12.00 on betfair exchange
(learned not to back the 0-0 thanks to Infor - No goalscorer protects against an own goal blowing the bet)

Correct score 1-1 @11.00 on betfair exchange

Main bet going on BTTS in Sassuolo v Genk @1.75 on Betfair Exchange

Both with everything to play for and the reverse was 3-1 to Genk.

Good luck if yer backing anything lads.

Copenhagen win @2.00 on betfair sportbook

Also Copenhagen win and BTTS @4.2 on Betfair Sportbook.

The odds on the win have gone from @2.15 two days ago to @2.00 this morning so the lines are moving in the right way. I'm expecting them to be @1.8 - @1.9 or so by tonight.

Good luck with any bets lads.

Main bet on the sw a winner. Pity Brugge didn't pocket too.

Odds on Copenhagen went up to @2.25 before kick off for whatever reason.

Sassuolo are out by my reckoning, Genk would like to top the group, but they'll hardly be too pushed. Given Italian teams attitude to this competition over the years and the fact that Sassuolo need points, I don't think they'll be giving it everything.
That's not to say BTTS won't come in, as in general, Sassuolo tend to be involved in games with goals, just querying the rationale.

Yer right, I had thought third also went through in Europa. I still fancy it to come in between the two. Fingers crossed.

Put 5 euro on Dundalk, thought 13/2 was good odds on PP.
    1-1 as I speak. :o

A load of fog just came over the pitch in Sassuolo game. Kick off postponed. Taking that as an omen and cashing out. Cheers on heads up over the group promotion Glen

    Krasnodar 23/20
    Celta vigo 8/11 double.

Two away teams both both have to win

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,121 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

    Apologies.

Didn't realise kras had qualified, was at work so didn't spot it. I saw that they had went 1 up and rushed on to cash out, market suspended :( red card and pen. 1-1 cashed out for .5 of stake and put it on Nice to win. Fortunately it came in and i ended up with 1.5 stake.

Decision time tonight in the jupiler league.
Helmond in pole position. Draw is enough. DC for them away to Den Bosch @ 1.48 is combo filler

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,191 ✭✭✭✭Shanotheslayer

    On Genk DC 1.66 2PT

Draw sees them top the group.

    Eintracht/Hoffenheim and Brighton/Leeds both to draw double - 10/1ish

Adama Niane wincast for Troyes 15/8. Troyes top of the table playing second from bottom Auxerre. Niane has 11 goals this season in the league and 5 in his last 4.

Livingston look huge at 2.3 for the win tomorrow. Their away form isnt massively patchy...anyone know anything about the squad?
