I know they are a good few today i saw and luxo barge and bangernomics threads (and i love them all)

but what id love is a thread where someone comes across a car that has clearly been cherished, you know the score, folders of receipts, polished, where 4 new tyres doesnt mean 4 of the cheapest pieces of garbage i could lay my hands on

    any merit in this :D

I disagree. If you do see such a car then just post as per normal in the usual threads.

13% of this rejection is based upon the title. If I see another "Today I..." I will explode :D

Good idea imo... it'd be a short thread as cars kept to that standard are like rocking horse sh!t in this country.

This will be a typical post in the thread:
Today I went to see a car to buy as I am in the market for a car like this.
This car was clearly cherished, had full service history, a brilliant buy!

I did not buy the car
    Am I getting this right?

no, one would assume the info would be in the advert, generally someone that fastidious will make a point of it

    i used to anyway :o

The "today I saw a car for sale" thread should be a good place for this - usually posts in there come with an explanation by the poster - whether it's just drooling, or a nice example of a common car, or any kind of example of a rare/desirable car...
