Keeping the blinds down?

So, about ten years ago I lived in a semi detached house, next door kept the blinds on their front window down 24 hours a day. I just thought they were a bit odd.
Then I moved to a detached house, lived there for 7 years, the semi detached house to one side of me kept the blinds down on their front window all the time!
In a new house now, the last 3 months, the house attached to Mine, keep their front window blinds all the time!

    Is it me??
I talk to my neighbours ( the blinds down people ) I have always been friendly, they seem OK.......
Are they afraid I'm gonna look into their sitting room? Or are they just vampires?
    I'm starting to get paranoid............

I presume the reason for having the blinds down is to stop nosey neighbours from looking in

    It's definitely you.
Do you seem like the sort of person who'd go around peeking in people's windows?
I'm thinking you might as I have never noticed what my neighbours do with their blinds and yet there you are both noticing and taking note!

It might either be just a "people who have blinds" thing. If you move from a net curtain house to a blind house it's hard to get used to having nothing but glass between you and the outside world and it's many nosy people. Could be people with blinds just often find they hate them and feel too exposed and then leave them closed.

If people are keeping their curtains closed though it's you. They've decided you're a "bad element" and don't want to attract you with their valuables.
