Birmingham (UK) - Food & Drink recommendations

I am going to Birmingham for a gig in the O2 Institute soon and just looking for some tips around places nearby or in the city centre for food and drinks. Not looking for fine dining, some nice pub grub or good quality burger / bbq joint would be great. All recommendations are much appreciated. Cheers

If you like Indian food viceroy in the jewellery quarter is really good. Moseley which is about 10 mins from the city centre has some great restaurants and nice bars. The village pub in Mosley do great burgers and five guys in the bullring is good aswell.
