Renault Megane 3 - Alloy question

    Hey all,

    I have a Megane 3 1.5dci.

    I'm looking to get Alutec Pearl 18" 8.5j with 225/40 tyres.

    Just wondering is there any issues with the above size (8.5J)?

    Some people have said that the tyre will rub off the arch etc.

    225/40 18 would be correct.

    I reckon it might look silly on 18s though.

    The renaultsport Megane uses 8.25j wheels. 235/40
