    Hi I signed up for paypal yesterday, have done no transaction yet, but see "
    01 Dec 16 POS PAYPAL *FASH 29/11 0 61.52


    "deducted from my account. Is this correct ? I thought paypal was free ? Thks

    It's kind of free as they make their money from commissions when you receive payments or on exchange rate when purchase from other currencies.

    Is that €61.52 from your bank account? I know they do test the credit card to make sure it's valid, but it's only for €1 or €2.

    Check your paypal account, you should see a history for any purchase.
