I got a Moto G4 Play last week, it's now turning itself off so contacted customer services about returning it and they wanted me to use DPD because An Post won't take a Lith Ion battery, cost was crazy so they just told me to keep it and they will issue a full refund.
Now to see is it a battery issue and if it is I'll have a nice new phone on the cheap!

Cheers, between free gift card credit (also obtained vie bargain alerts!) and the 20% off I got €53 off a Moto G4. Better than any Black Friday deals.

Condition was listed as very good, hopefully just an open box.

I got 20% and the £30 off £100 when ordering a guitar there, went from 240 to 160. Unreal.

Appears on some items - I spotted it on the Wines, but nothing I actually wanted :(
    Lucky timing I'd guess!

For the playstation headset I contacted amazon and told them about the box and the gave me a £7.50 credit back so all in all I was very happy.

Whats the best way to contact them? Did you have to download the Amazon assistant?

For those asking about when this deal is over, they usually run the same deal between XMas and New Years to capture those bored!

I had something pricey from warehouse in my cart before this offer...didnt buy.
Next day the price had increased by 200 pounds -...
but this "warehouse sale" at the checkout brought it back to 20 or so pounds more expensive than before the sale.. :/

    “Roll it back”

Is it possible that it was a different grade? Used like new vs like new have fairly big differences in prices. Could be that the one you had in your cart was sold so they put nearest matching product. The decent warehouse offers don't last very long once they go up.

The warehouse prices probably are inflated with this 20% off promotion but as usual its up to yourself to know if you are getting a good deal or not.

Refurbished ones are on sale for £30 at the moment! Stick with a new one for £25.

Does delivery take a bit longer through the warehouse? Placed an order Monday and it still hasn't dispatched, ususally that's next day with amazon. The tracker is a bit weird as well, says delivery expected 2-7 December but then says "will dispatch" on the 6th? No way that would be here by the 7th in that case. All seems a bit odd, amazon usually spot on with dispatching and delivery estimates.

they are using express delivery when posting in a bid to handle the increase in items that need to be dispatched over the black friday/cyber monday period.

So, are warehouse returns free or not? Been reading mixed opinions!

Am personally a bit worried that I picked up a product in 'Good' condition (which simply indicated 'Item in original packaging. Packaging will have cosmetic damage. All purchases eligible for Amazon customer service and a 30-day return policy.')

Bought that versus paying a pound more for a 'Very Good' one (which did indicate a lot of imperfections 'Small cosmetic imperfection (less than 2.5cm x 2.5cm) on front of item. Small cosmetic imperfection (less than 2.5cm x 2.5cm) on top of item. Small cosmetic imperfection (less than 2.5cm x 2.5cm) on sides of item. Small cosmetic imperfection (less than 2cm x 2cm) on bottom of item. Small cosmetic imperfection (less than 2.5cm x 2.5cm) on back of item. Small (less than 2.5cm x 2.5cm) cosmetic imperfection on the interior of item').

Just bizarre how little information was on the Good one I bought versus the Very Good one for a pound more with all those imperfections listed... plus from reading online, items with a condition of 'Good' often include missing accessories. If I get it and it's missing an accessory, it may as well go back.

I got two "Good" ones and only damage was to the box exterior (corners were a bit squished).

Otherwise brand new and wrapped contents. So it is really a bit of a gamble and probably depends on the type of item (e.g. electronics will probably be brand new.. ceramics might be slightly cracked)

    ^ Yeah, it's electronics:

Realistically, I can live without the little tablet / phone stand but obviously missing the shaker is a big shame, they're probably 10 - 12 euro new.

If it's missing anything, I'm going to just ask them why it wasn't detailed in the description and hope for the best.

Not to mention, you can easily get partial refunds back for minor issues (e.g. I got 25% back when I found the included batteries were dead)

You might get 50-75% back for any more serious issues and saves you having to re-post it back too.

e.g. they first offered me a full refund when I complained - asking that I post it back, but I said I wanted to keep the item so could they give me a partial refund instead.. and they responded with the 25% off.

Anything missing is always listed in my experience, e.g. manual or charging cable, I've never got anything from the Warehouse missing something not noted in their information/description of the used item

Just purchased an airfryer from amazon warehouse, condition is described as good. From anyone who has purchased from Amazon Warehouse just wondered what to expect from the description as good, I'm guessing it could be kinda hit & miss could be in good condition but could be not so good.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 497 ✭✭gillamandango

Just had this printer delivered and it was missing, the manual, CD, Power Cable and Inks. The description on the warehouse deal did not mention any of this and still doesnt as per the link https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B01E3UANSQ/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&condition=used . I purchased the Used-Very Good item.

I got on to customer services and they advised me to return it at my own expense as its a warehouse deal and not amazon stock as such. I was polite but still got no joy. Any ideas what to do as its a bulky item and the return label says its got to go to scotland so will have to send it by courier as An Post wont take it. Any replies grateful.

Ring again and try another agent I'd say as it's pretty useless without a power cable.... I'm worried myself now as my purchase is described as just good!

Thanks for the reply but the power cable is the least of my worries, the inks cost upwards of £60 and the printer only cost £72

Have just been on again to Amazon and now they tell me that the item did not include cables, manuals or Ink but there is nothing in the descriptions that mention this. I think I have just been very unlucky and they are refusing to do anything about it. Also I have been on to the call centre in Jamaica and they are not that helpful.

Id imagine the are up to their proverbials with the promotion. I'm due a delivery and it says due today but the tracking number isn't recognized so rang An Post who said its not in the country yet :(

Purchased a craghoppers winter lined trousers for herself, reason I imagine it was a warehouse deal was the fact that the size was incorrectly labeled, she owns a pair of the advertised size which fit perfectly. Got onto customer service and they said hang onto it and gave me a full refund, told them I'd drop it down to a local charity shop and so pass on the good will.

Incidentally; never; never; never say "sure use it as a target pants to slim into", there's no way back from "so you think I need to lose weight" and the subsequent delay (which makes things worse) as you scramble to recover.

Ask them to provide proof of where they disclosed this information. If that doesn't work get in touch with your payment provider and start a chargeback.

Got a Yamaha P45 digital piano for £267. Used - Very Good.

Was lower but needed a keyboard in a hurry.
Feckers cancelled this today, on the day of delivery. Just got a blunt, generic email with no explanation. Amazon really going downhill recently.
