We have 2 Portable rads, 1 is 1500kw, the other 2000kw, both oil filled

Can't find anything recent online but how much do each of these cost per hour to run? Each has 3 settings (low, med, high)

How much is your electricity rate? Multiply it by the power in kW.

Seems day rate is 18.97/kwh, night rate is 9.39/kwh

I have no idea how to figure the costings out, like what if i just have it max but on low, will that be 1/3 of the cost?

Absolutely no idea. Depends on the temperature of the room and what they mean by medium and low. If the 1.5 kW one was on constantly at max it would cost 28.4 c per hour but there'll be a thermostat cutting in every so often making sure it doesn't overheat so the real figure will be less. If the room is freezing the rad on low could cost as much as the thermostat would keep it on more often.

Go with maybe 25 c per hour and 1/3 off that for each setting probably wouldn't be a bad rule of thumb. Only way to know for sure is to hook it up to some sort of monitor.
