That yellow card for Glen Rovers full forward was fairly farcical.

    Certainly was, 50/50

Glen still to get motoring, 5 down after 20. Kelly running the show.

2 injury time points gives Donaghmoyne a 1-8 to 1-6 win.

Glen second to the ball and struggling to rise it when they get there, Ballyea look far better side so far

Glen not at the races at all. Horgan and Brosnan are none existent. Kelly has motm already as he has been given the freedom of the pitch.
I expect glen to up their game but cannot see how they can get back into this.

By God Cork Hurling is indeed dead if this is best team in County. Not saying much for Limerick either.

    Dreadful stuff

Made a game of it for a while but nowhere near Ballyea. Typical of Cork hurling, seriously lacking in the basic skills.

Beaten by the better team, no doubt.

I was shocked how bad they were. Really shows up how poor Cork is. Only for 2 goals it have been humilation

Watched most of that through my hands in disbelief, horror, shock. I dunno. We're in a bad place lads.

Can't say there's any Glen players outside of Horgan that would be up to inter county. I'd question McDonnell at this stage too

Bang on SeaFields. Today was a microcosm of where Cork hurling overall is at.

I'd be a defender of Hoggie but thought he was poor today. When a team is beaten in most positions it's difficult to stand out but thought he struggled to have any significant influence on the game.

But, but, what about our new "centre of excellence"?

Hoggie & Steve Mac were brutal today. Glen won a poor county. At least it will keep that side of de city quite. Roll on Dec 4 in Mallow.

bit harsh on glen rovers , they got caught in the headlights in the first half which can happen any team brought it right back in the second half and for long parts of the half were the better team

ballyea had a huge advantage with several intercounty players from the clare football and hurling panels and underage set ups , cork hurling dose need a boost yes but it cant be all bad if cork clubs are still making provincial finals

Ballyea at one stage had a player who was able to fumble a ball in the air and catch it for 2nd time and then sweep over a point without any sort of pressure.

That summed up the game for me. The basic skills were missing from the Glen

Immense in an below average championship, then found out once they played opposition of class. Sort of sums up Cork hurling

By all means give him a league, but prepare to be proven wrong.

St Colmans reached the U16.5 All Ireland final today with a 1-13 to 0-12 win over Gort. Well done and good luck in the final !

Looks like Bride Rovers motto of heart spirit and hard work run through this team. Well done Colmans.

There are some tasty clashes in the Cork SHC first round draws. Two Waterford coaches go head to head when Killeagh meet Erins Own and the Glen versus Bride Rovers is another one that caught the eye.
