Is it possible to weatherproof plywood?

I have a sheet of plywood and I am thinking about using it to make a door for a children's hut.

Would oil based paint weather proof it or would it just die after a winter or two?

You need to coat it in epoxy resin 2-3 coats should do it maybe a bit more for the sides.

Marine ply would be a better option.

Marine ply would be a better option.

Make sure to varnish the sides and on cuts you make on it to help keep it waterproof
