    Going to throw some cold water on this:pac::pac::pac:

    My only response at the time was major concern for the poor chap, he gave his head some whack. It was a wonder he wasn't seriously injured. I can't recall now, but did anyone go to help him when it happened?

    It always seems to be older people too. I notice it on the TripAdvisor forums more so.

    Never like laughing at it too much. As noted already not just the poor bloke having it raked up every year but he really whacked his head off the ground. Could have been seriously hurt or worse.

    I've never been able to watch it since(I saw it live when it was shown)
    It was the thump his head made when it hit the ground that literally sickened my stomach. :(

    The poor chap was probably strutting his stuff after he caught sight of the RTE cameras pointing his way and got distracted by the prospect of being shown in the background of a news report, he forgot about his feet gliding on the ice.

    I hate this video...It tears me up inside. It makes me chuckle so much and gives me the guilts in equal measure. It does look like an awful whack to his head.

    But it's just so funny. What are the chances that you slip and fall right in front of an Rte camera in epic style. All they're missing is him trying to struggleto his feet baby deer style :pac:

    Then I feel bad...obviously the guy was morto to the point that he still hasn't come out and claimed it.
