Woods vs hybrid

    Hey lads in theory is a hybrid easier to hit than a wood on the fairway .. im having problems with woods not consistent at all ..im far better with 5 and 6 iron ..just thinking would a hybrid suit me better

    In theory, no, not from the fairway, from the rough, yes.

    In theory, no, not from the fairway, from the rough, yes.
    Probably would work since a hybrid plays more like an iron than a fairway wood. Shorter shaft and all that. Really depends on the problems you're having with your fairway woods. Some people tend to top them and you could do the exact same with a hybrid.
