Who does this trash talk appeal to? So childish.

HA think Eddie tried to get a sly dig about Dee being pregnant but Conor never heard.

Not only that but insinuated he has a child already.

Lol, Eddie just staring at Conor thinking that he would react to the 2 kids thing and Conor just staring straight ahead.

I think he was trying to imply that Conor has another girl pregnant at the same time as Dee.

Let himself down big time. Too emotional

McGregor being late is stupid at this stage. Should start fining him 10% of his show money. All the "my time" stuff just makes him sound like an unprofessional knob.

JJ is a cnut, really needs to be taken down a peg or two.

    Roll on Saturday.

All title fights this year have either ended in the first round or gone the distance.
I see the straw-weight fight going the distance, but lightweight and welterweight title fights are both going to end in the first.

Personally, I'll say JJ, Thompson and Eddie will win
First post Ive seen in this thread with an Eddie win.
I think he will win also.

The Conor show used to be fun, now I just love watching him fight. That presser was pretty cringy for the most part.

Did ye not see her on TUF? She was appalling! Possibly scripted, but all the same, she came across terribly. Damn fine fighter though.

Ok I want to watch the fight but I'll be at a friend's place who doesn't have BT sports or a Sky Box/ satellite box. Can I sign up for the pay per view on a once off basis, is that possible, or do you have to have BT Sports?

Is there a way to book the fight online to watch it live streaming online while in Dublin?

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, didn't have time to read through all the rules etc.

You think he should be fined 350k for being 10 minutes late?

You should replace Pat Lundvall as the NSAC commissioner!

Haha yet another classic press conference from the Big Mac. First thing he does is go over and take Eddie's belt from the table!

When he picked up the chair I was like wow wow calm a bit because that type of thing will get the press conference stopped dead! Thankfully he didn't go too far with it.

He's just gas. There is no point over analysing it. Eddie waaayyy out of his depth in matching McGregor's wit and showmanship.

Great to hear the Irish turnout in full voice. Really got to Eddie that McGregor has such a strong following.

Can Eddie prevent himself from fighting emotionally? We know Conor will be zen like on Saturday night.

Eddie is the most rattled I've seen of any Conor's opponents. How how start the press conference was way over the top, he looked unedged and then suddenly storming of stage forgetting his belt only for Conor to take it and Eddie had to run back. His comments about the Irish fans seemed like sour grapes. Everything he did seemed unmeasured and just emotionally lashing out.

Although one of the funniest moments just after the chair incident was when a giant security guard picked Conor up like a baby in his red nappy wrapped in a white quilt and carried him off stage.

    Reminded me exactly of this:

He won't show up at all then, he will just say '**** it'.

McGregor's enjoying these press conferences, has felt the pressure of the big show before, knows the crowd will eat it up when he arrives, has done his training etc.
Arrive late, let the other guy sit there and take abuse from his fans, arrive to huge cheer and let the other guy feel the pressure of a big show.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand how you can look at that press conference and say that Alvarez is rattled but Conor isn't. His attitude for the whole presser was awful. He seems of a different mentality to previous fight. His press conferences used to be calculated but now they're terrible.

And I also don't see how Alvarez saying **** this when McGregor wasn't there. Why should he take Qs whilst McG isn't there?

Just watched Alvarez's win over Pettis, very underwhelming. Professional, disciplined, but barely got the decision. An ugly boring grind of a fight. But my was it worth it for him.

People said he was rattled before the second Diaz fight too, he was clearly emotional after getting removed for throwing cans but he came in on fight night and was all business.

Thought Eddie was horrendous there in the presser. Just awful. Looked like he was wanting to explode in a fit of rage or burst into tears, I can't decide which. It surprised me a bit because he was okay in the one a few weeks back but the occasion does seem to be getting to him based on that.

All signs at the moment point to him doing exactly what McGregor wants him to do - come out swinging on Saturday night.

    So far, so good.
