I just noticed that ive put tax year down as 01/01/15 to 21/12/15 instead of 31st due to finger slip. This has been submitted on ros.
I dont believe the facility to alter a return is available online.
    How should I proceed here?

Send them an email but don't worry about it.

Is there a way to email them directly from my Ros account or is it a matter of sending an email to some general contact with my pps number and details etc

Can I use the 'My Enquiries' function on ROS for this purpose?

Yes, this is the exact function you should use.

No. You can correct a return via ROS. Go onto ROS and follow the process to file a form 11 online. It'll give you the option of amending a return. Tick the relevant box to say you're correcting an error and write a short explanation in the box provided, then go to the page where the error is and correct it....then just save and submit it.

Either way, I wouldn't worry too much about it!
