    Say what you want about society in this country, but we'd never let this happen. When we were faced with the unthinkable ourselves, we did the right thing and voted for our very own Hilary in Enda.

    So if nothing else this morning, I'm thankful for being Irish. I don't get the chance to say that enough.

    So… Trump promised to send all the illegal immigrants in the US home, and give their jobs to Americans.

    How many will be coming back to Ireland? How will that affect our economy? I've seen estimates of 50,000 Irish living 'illegally' in the US. It's the norm to send the foreign-born home and keep their American-born children in the US, by the way.

    Went to bed at all hours looking like it was a landslide for Clinton, stick the 7am news on this morning, jesus, what happened.

    Same with Brexit, maybe I shouldn't go to bed on the night of important referendum, votes etc.

    This election was a win against biased media and perception.

    This election will also hopefully be a win against corporations and US involvement in foreign conflicts. Hillary for all her apparent sanity was hellbent on war. She is responsible for the Libyan conflict and also helped to arm ISIS and the other terror groups.

    For that I'm happy she did not gain power. Many innocent lives will be spared
