Has anyone got one of these previously?

Amazon have the Tefal ActiFry for €103.05 when you use Revolut. Free delivery to UK so I would be using AddressPal which will be €3.50. 2 friends have the ActiFry so I'm tempted but the Aldi one looks good too!

Argos has something similar for €87. Here's a video demo/sales pitch.

"The halogen heated fryer uses just one spoon full of oil. When cooking fresh chips it uses 99.5% less oil than a standard 3 litre fryer and no oil at all when cooking oven chips and frozen foods.

    1kg food capacity.
    Digital timer.
    Removable bowl.
    Safety cut out.
    Size H23.8, W31.2, D46cm.
    1200 watts."

Halogen heated fryerw are a totlly different breed of fryer and arent as good.

The philips and tefal air fryers circulate hot air like a mini convection oven if you will.

Thats what keeps the meat tender and crispy on th outside,
