Help finding blazer/cardigan to go with this dress for interview

Hi, I'm going for a job interview and need to look fairly formal yet not uncomfortably so. I got this dress (size 14) and it looks nice but I have no idea what to wear with it. I tried on a black blazer but it was way too dark - and I looked like I was about to go to a funeral. I'd like to get a slightly brighter or neutral coloured blazer or cardigan that is fairly tailored. I tried M&S and Zara but everything was way too dark and/or looked hideous :eek:
