You've got ten minutes. It's that touristy cocktail bar on the bridge just beside Borough Market. I'm the brunette in the pink top. Not even kidding

This could actually be the start of a lovely story!!! :)

6 shots and 3 West Coast coolers before the guy even got there and then another shot and cocktail for when he arrived. That's basically 11 drinks before the date even started. Were you not fucking mashed easy/a cheap date?

Fixed your post. I think we may have found my ideal woman. She predrinks and gets one ready for me. :)

Not much point in telling us now after the fact is there?

    There was.

That wouldn't be too much to be honest, you'd be merry. That would be equivalent to pre drinks

We can count our blessings for mobile phones, imagine standing under Clerys clock hoping she turns up.

I was on a first date where she landed in 90 minutes late, she was in touch all the time, her car broke down and she was coming from 60 miles away. Would have been gone at the 30 minute mark without mobiles and mightn't be married now but for them.

You'd be merry maybe. If I had 11 drinks in what I assume was a fairly short time, 2 hours or so? I would be smashed. For sure.

Several years later and I've now got a bump for said gentleman. So it's up to you whether you stay or go now :pac:

He hits you on the forehead? That's terrible. You're worth more than this. Surround yourself with friends and family. Take some time to work on yourself. Read 'The Secret' and listen to some Destinys Child circa 2000.

Meh I had a high tolerance back then. I used to use Chardonnay as my mixer for vodka back then. That would have been sedate enough. I've calmed down a lot.

I once waited for an hour at a bar for a girl. It was in the days before mobile phones and we'd agreed to meet at X on westmoreland st. After an hour she came in and ripped me apart. She was standing outside in the freezing cold waiting for me.

Meeting her at a porn shop was probably your first mistake.

There's plenty. You're just in the wrong type of bar.

No I had a date that I was early for and he was late, we were texting so I knew he was going to be late. It was the middle of the day on a Tuesday and I went to a bar because that's who I am as a person. The first drink I ordered was a double vodka and west coast cooler. The barman assumed it was for two people so gave me two glasses, one for the vodka and one for the west coast. He looked on a bit horrified as I asked for a pint glass and threw them all in together.

I finished my third round of this, when himself text he was nearby. So I ordered two cocktails and two shots, one for me and one for him. The poor barman couldn't hold it to himself anymore and he asked "are these all for you?"

I'm sure he felt very sorry for the guy when he finally arrived

Who the f8ck drinks a double vodka in the middle of the day..... on a Tuesday?

I arranged my first date with my current partner in the Trinity Arch pub on Dame Street (back when it was a good old fashioned pub) after 20 mins I texted to ask after how long should I be worried that this was a no show and it turns out she was under the actual Trinity Arch and pretty p**ded of .
13 years later she still does not see the funny side of it !

It's attitudes like that that makes me ask for slices of lime so people think it's a 7up. Though now I'm 28 I'm all about the good decisions.
